Q: Are you affiliated with the devs of robobeat?

A: No, I am not affiliated with Kwalee or anyone on the dev team.

Q: How many people are involved in the development of robobeatsongs.xyz?

A: One

Q: How long does it take to download a song?

A: Songs do not take up much storage, therefore it does not take long to download a song it takes about 2 seconds. (Depending on your internet speed.) Songs will never be over 1 GB either. 

Q: How do you make money?

A: Robobeatsongs.xyz is a personal project created out of passion for the game. There are 0 ads, sign ins, or transactions. Because let's be real, who likes those? I made Robobeatsongs.xyz to gain knowledge about website creation and ownership, including the use of DNS and other related concepts. The information and community surrounding robobeat mean much more to me than any paycheck.

Q: Is robobeatsongs.xyz a scam or a virus?

A: Nope! While the .xyz extension or downloading files off websites may be suspicous. I can assure you, Robobeatsongs.xyz is completely safe. It uses google drive for downloads, which has its own virus scan feature.  Robobeatsongs.xyz is trusted (and used) by 300+ discord members and hundreds of users every month.

Q: Where do I put my mappings? 

A: You can put it in any folder you would like, just make sure it’s easily accessible so you can import it. 

Q: Are maps reviewed before it’s uploaded? 

A: All files are stored on Google Drive and scanned. Only .robobeat files are uploaded. 

Q: There is a problem with a mapping (bpm, difficulty, broken patterns) 

A: If you find a problem with a mapping that isn’t yours, feel free to email me at support@robobeatsongs.xyz if it needs to be remapped! 

Q: What files should I upload? 

A: .robobeat for mappings. For requests you may use .ogg, .mp3, or .wav. 

Q: Can I update my mapping after it’s uploaded? 

A: If you find that your mapping is not exceptional you may submit it again and I will replace it. 

Q: Do I need to keep the audio file after I make my mapping? 

A: No. It’s up to you if you want to store your audio files on your device but if you would like you may remove after you submit your request/make your mapping. 

Q: I’m on console, why don’t I see the option for custom songs? 

A: Custom songs are not available on console and most likely will never come to console as stated by the developers. 

Q: What is the legality of this site? 

A: If a copyright owner asks for something to be taken down it will be. 

Q: How are maps sorted? 

A: Maps go from browse page 1 = oldest to newest browse page = newest. 

Q: I want to upload more than just 1 mapping at once. Can I?

A: You may email support@robobeatsongs.xyz for bulk uploads.
